The weather is beautiful, the ocean takes on spectacular color, and of course, there are all the fun things to do and see in the area. Perhaps no event during the holiday season is as anticipated as those of Super Saturday. This week we have everything you need to know about Super Saturday on Ocean Isle Beach. Schedule of Events, Saturday November 30th
Saturday on Ocean Isle Beach is loaded with great family-friendly events. All of these amazing events are free and open to the public. The only exception to this is for those who want to register their boats in the flotilla. Of course, since events don’t kick off until the afternoon there is still plenty of time to enjoy the beach, local farmer’s markets, and of course there is time to enjoy one of the many local restaurants. No matter what you are looking to do the day is going to be a great one. Here’s the schedule of events for the day.
1:15 p.m. Line-up for parade beside Town Hall parking lot.
2:00 p.m. Annual Christmas Parade Starts.
4:30 p.m. Christmas caroling and Tree lighting at Causeway across the street from the Fire Department. This
is on the mainland side of the bridge.
4:45 p.m. Doors open for Santa at the Fire Department followed by hot cocoa, coffee, and other goodies.
6:00 p.m. Watch the Christmas Flotilla from Sharky’s Waterfront Restaurant. Followed by Flotilla Party!
Ocean Isle Beach Flotilla
The 16th Annual Ocean Isle Beach Flotilla boat parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. This fun parade of boats begins in front of Inlet View Bar and Grill and then heads down the Intracoastal Waterway.The flotilla ends in front of Sharky’s Restaurant on Ocean Isle Beach.
This is a holiday flotilla so you’ll love seeing all the holiday-themed decorations. People really get into this fun Ocean Isle Beach tradition. Make sure to hang around at Sharky’s afterward for great live music, food, and fun.
Don’t forget to join in on the auction and to buy a T-shirt. Boat entries require a $25.00 donation. All of the proceeds from the event go to benefit, the Brunswick County Family Assistance Program.
