Housekeeping Guidelines
The onset of the COVID-19 Coronavirus has generated unprecedented focus on health and cleaning. This includes many aspects within the vacation rental industry. Unfortunately, many unknowns still exist concerning this virus and the associated health issues. Each day health professionals provide additional information, understanding, and guidance. Understanding that this is an evolving situation, we at Williamson Realty Vacations are taking proactive steps to move forward and provide accommodations where owners and guests feel comfortable. To that end, we are offering the following information.
Housekeepers are being instructed to use only EPA approved disinfecting and sanitizing products.
Maintenance and cleaning staff will adhere to appropriate social distancing guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including mask and gloves, while servicing any location.
During the cleaning process, additional attention will be given to disinfection solid high touch surfaces. These would include such items as door handles/knobs, light switches, TV remotes, and stair railings.
Sanitizing spray will be used on the soft surfaces such as couches, beds, and carpet.
Guests are encouraged to bring additional cleaning supplies to utilize during their stay.
At this time, we are still experiencing limited supplies that would normally be available at local stores. Therefore, guests are strongly encouraged to bring paper towels, toilet tissue, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, wipes, and any other special need products.
